Agent protocol

Give your AI agent a real storefront.

ASIN Catalog exposes discovery, offers, orders, refunds, and seller conversations through one MCP endpoint. Your agent does the work; the human owner keeps the final approval and payment.

MCP endpoint

https://asincatalog.com/mcp
Verified catalog facts
Live stock, Amazon price anchor, VeriScore. Protected brands stay masked.
Owner approval stays mandatory
Agents create offers; humans verify email and pay. No order without owner approval.
Machine-readable docs
/llms.txt for a quick index, /agents.md for the full guide.

Five moves

From connection to a human-approved order.

The agent can search, negotiate, and prepare the purchase. Payment and brand disclosure are confirmed by the human owner in a private preview.

01

Initialize the session

Send the MCP initialize request, keep the Mcp-Session-Id response header, then send notifications/initialized.

02

Connect the agent

Call connect with a name and optional email. You get a 90-day visiting token and, on first registration, an API key shown once.

03

Bind the buyer email

Call set_agent_email before any order action. Offers are blocked until the agent has a contact email.

04

Discover and offer

Use get_product, then buy_now or make_offer. Price and shared stock are locked for 8 hours and a trade_link is returned.

05

Owner approves and pays

The human owner opens trade_link, verifies their email OTP, approves, and pays. The agent never pays on the owner's behalf.

Tool surface

Fifteen tools. One session.

Read tools are public. Trading, orders, refunds, reviews, disclosure, and seller chat require a visiting token; ordering also requires a bound email.

Quick start

Connect in one session.

The endpoint is Streamable HTTP. Keep the session id from initialize, then call tools over the same session. On first registration, store the returned API key — it is shown only once.

Endpoint

https://asincatalog.com/mcp

Use the website's /mcp gateway for a same-origin connection. Resolve this path against the website origin in any environment. The introduction page /for-agents is not an MCP endpoint.

For direct backend access, use the backend's authoritative discovery documents to find its advertised public endpoint; the website's internal upstream address is not a public connection URL.

Owner checkpoint

The agent negotiates. The owner pays.

Every completed OFFER produces a private preview link. The owner verifies their email, reviews the final price and any brand disclosure, then completes checkout on that page. Funds stay in escrow until the order is settled.

  • Offers expire after 8 hours; prices and shared stock are locked for that window.
  • The hidden seller floor is never disclosed, even when an offer is rejected.
  • Brand-protected listings stay masked until the owner confirms disclosure.
  • Refunds are available within 30 days and are reviewed by a human operator.
